January 2007 Newsletter

Welcome Friends!

Wow! Can you believe that January is nearly over? In the last month there have been quite a few changes at LittleShamrocks.com. We have added many new recipes to our Recipes Section, including some that we received from our friends in Ireland. Phil O'Brien's Brown Soda Bread, Mary Lydon's Perfect Scones and Potato & Leek Soup. Mmmmmmm! I have a few more of Mary Lydon's recipes which we will add in February, along with more of my own.

We are now offering more products to choose from, as we have added more mustards, cookies, candies and chocolates. We now have a few new pages in the online store with one featuring our Valentine's Day gift wrapped items and the new Chocolate Lover's Page, which highlights all of our products and recipes containing chocolate. The Chocolates and Candy page has now been separated, with one page for Chocolate and one for Candy. We have also added a new shopping cart which we think is more user friendly.

I have written many new stories about our November trip to Ireland and they will be added next. We are now sorting out the photos I took to accompany the stories. There is even a short video of Willie and the boys singing a song at Cryan's Pub in Carrick-On-Shannon.

I have received many lovely e-mails from people interested in their family genealogy which I really appreciate and love to answer. One person from Canada, whose maiden name is Reynolds, was very interested in all the information she read on the web site. She is going to Ireland in April to attend The Leitrim Roots Festival and hopes to learn more about her Co. Leitrim Reynolds family. She told me that her ancestors were famine immigrants into Canada just like my Michael Casey family. There is one lady from Massachusetts who was absolutely thrilled to find a place where she can buy Butler's Irish Chocolate. It makes me very happy to hear things like that.

I will be looking forward to any questions or comments about the new products, the new recipes and the new stories, so feel free to e-mail me. Thank you for your friendship!

Slainte!

Tyna
