the Irish food pictures on this site.
When
we started LittleShamrocks.com we want it to be more
than just
a collection of recipes. Tyna wanted to make,
taste and adjust the recipes as needed, and then
we decided to photograph the results.
All
of the recipe results are photographed as-is to give
a true representation of the results. We
tried a variety
of photography methods, but we got the best results
using a special light box, basically a miniature
photography
studio, from the American Recorder Company. The
Studio-in-a-Box is a kit including lights, light diffusers,
camera
stand, two colored backgrounds and a carrying
case. It really
gives beautiful results for photographing small
items.
Use
of these pictures
All
of the pictures in the recipe section were photographed
by Lou, the
webmaster of LittleShamrocks.com.
All
of pictures in the travel section were taken
by Tyna and Terry. Lou also
took many of the pictures in the store section,
but some of them are product photographs by
our affiliate
partners
including FoodIreland and iGourmet.com.
We
get a lot of requests about use of our pictures for
other web sites as well as non-web personal projects.
