Beannachtaí an tSéasúir daoibh!
(Season's Greetings to you all!)
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that
LittleShamrocks.com is now in the top 1%
of all web sites worldwide,
thanks to our loyal customers and our web hosting
service, SiteSell.com. There is no such thing
as an overnight success building a web
site. It takes
time, effort, and a plan. SiteSell provided the
plan along with all the tools and information
we needed using the four basic steps: Content > Traffic > Presell > Monetize.
Thank
you so much, SiteSell!

Quick Tour
November
was a very busy month for LittleShamrocks.com.
You may have
already
noticed that we have some new
affiliate
companies, including
allposters.com for Irish (or
other) prints & posters,
and songhenge.com for Celtic music
downloads. We became affiliated
with Travelocity.com
and now
you can book your Ireland get-a-way
directly from our site. Cooking.com
is another
new affiliate which will give you
access to their over 30,000
cooking, baking and kitchenware
products.
As I had mentioned in the November
newsletter, several new holiday
recipes are now online.
I actually made more goodies
than originally planned.
We have
11 new recipes, including one
for a Christmas Irish Castle
Centerpiece,
made with sugar
cubes. The
other recipes include Gingerbread
Teddy
Bears, Celtic Spiral Cookies,
Christmas Bread Pudding,
Springerle Cookies, Chocolate
Box w/Berries & Cream,
Sweet & Spicy Snack Mix,
Irish Cream Coffee Fudge, Irish
Cream Brownies, Irish Mint
Chocolate
Squares and Tyna's Two Christmas
Cakes in One: Jolly Santa Cake & Festive
Christmas Tree Cake, made from
one recipe. We also
now have
a Holiday
Recipes Index button which
gives you easy access to the
2006 and
2007 holiday
recipes. This page
will be updated with upcoming
2008 holiday recipes for Valentine's
Day, St. Patrick's
Day, Easter,
Passover, Thanksgiving and
the
December Holidays.
Terry
and I received a long and newsy letter from our
good friend,
Gerry
Bohan. He has
been keeping
us informed about Leitrim
happenings and we're always happy to
hear the news. His
most recent
letter was so interesting
that
it gave me an idea, which
I discussed with
the rest
of the
staff, and
it was thumbs up all the
way around! I thought it would
be interesting
to our
newsletter
recipients and clientelle
to add a new page written by Gerry,
who is experienced in covering
sports
news for two of the Co.
Leitrim newspapers. After the
New Year, he has agreed
to write a monthly column that
will appear on his own
page, The
Leitrim Connection at LittleShamrocks.com,
and it will also go out
to our newsletter subscribers.
Welcome, Gerry! We also
received a Christmas
card, along
with a gift, from Thomas
and Maura Casey. We were
very
happy to hear from them
as Thomas
had
been
ill for several weeks this
past year. He is doing
well and back to his old
self again, which was fabulous
news. Also, Irene is now
teaching and lecturing three days a
week at the
National University
of Ireland, Maynooth in
Co. Kildare. Congratulations!
They sent us
the Christmas Special 2007
issue of
Ireland's #1 Food Magazine, “Easy
Food”.
This issue is packed with
yummy Irish holiday recipes
and decorating
ideas.
It was very much
appreciated
since I love to cook.
Now
that I have updated you
on LittleShamrocks.com,
on
behalf
of the entire staff,
I would like to thank all
of you for your business
and
support.
We wish you a wonderful
holiday
and all the best in the
New Year.
Slainte!
(Good
Health!)
